what you see is what you get or the inner secret- the inner truth:                                                     the secret of the painting or object is not revealed,                                                                           the inner truth of the painting/object is the object as itself and has its own elastic reality

 

Marion Jungeblut works with oil color-space and acryl layers, silkscreens and c-prints of bodies, objects and landscapes, with cor-ten steel objects and acryl glass installations, which seem to hover, to vanish on their mirroring surfaces and elude from their complete grasp.                       They create an elastic reality in their color-space and within their surreal and abstract content - - they veil their secret , withdrawn from the beholder.

Anagram series

Die verschiedenen bedeutungsebenen entstehen beim betrachten durch die verschiedenen assoziationen die durch die anagrame manifestiert werden.

 

Die farbgebungen verstärken die unterschiedlichen wortzusammenhänge und jenachdem welches wort earth art tear ear hear etc vor dem  ( innneren ) auge entsteht so werden assoziationen verknüpft aus dem eigen bereich des betrachters.

 

Durch auflösung der struktur in den unterschiedlichen bildebenen der buchstaben wird die begriffliche struktur zusätzlich wieder dekonstruiert.

die auflösung der metallischen form durch ( scheinbare ) korrosion.

das verschwinden der form in der zukunft durch korrosion.

 

the rusty surfaces of corten steel ( the 2 elements are always in non-physical contact with each other )  reinforce with their roughness the impeccable elliptic form.Though at first sight the rusty elements will vanish and decay  – corten steel will not corrode but last.

 

 

In contrast to the melting objects which seem to be made out of hard durable metal but they will be melting and their shape will be vanishing.

REMOTE METEOR

As an anagram - remote meteor - describing the shape-shifting of an meteor approaching the surface REMOTE METEOR plays with the association of a frozen moment of a fall of the meteor.

The connotation of an impact and the vanishing as well as the association of an imaginary landscape of structure, fabric and pattern on the surface of the cor-ten steel circle , the association of an chart of a meteor field.

The fall of the remote meteor is hidden in the steel tube – a frozen moment of a moving changing object.
