On April 12th, 2024 at 5 p.m. the primary insight will be given with the introductory speech by PIA KRANZ about MOSI,

18 regional artists as well as from Ukraine and India will be presenting their work.
The exhibition weekend is open to the public on April 13th. and 14.4.2024 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. There is a varied and dynamic program

TRACE VERSUS TIME
fragmented and augmented – two artist positions based/connected to Los
Angeles/USA and Braunschweig/Germany
In TRACE VERSUS SPACE/TIME the two artist positions of Carol Kaufman,
based in Los Angeles and Marion Jungeblut, formerly based in Los Angeles
are forming connecting lines and spaces between possible minimalistic
appearences of surfaces.
Carol Kaufman’s work is determined and ruled by lines which reveal a
moment in time as the process at first sight is unequivocally invisible at
second holds the whole presence of a measured time and space
sequenced process culminated on a two-dimensional plane materialized in
both carbon and colour.
The objects of Marion Jungeblut are condensed and fragmented objects
which evoke different images and associations in different levels and
layers of visual and cognitive perception. Speculative words and specular
reflective surfaces induce and create the possibilities of divergent and
different realities in time and space.
Both artist create with their different approach to tracing time, space, and surface
in their artwork a unique possibility to confront 2D and 3D positions in a
Duo Solo Exhibition to establish and induce imagination of different layers and traces, spaces and reflections – phaenomenological and philosophical – within the viewing
process of the beholder.
TRACE VERSUS SPACE is proposed to be presented at the Kunsthaus BBK
Braunschweig which captures the classistic ideals of a former historic
century to emphazise and reinforce a contemporary show of TRACE
VERSUS TIME in its space and contrast.

This online public performance symposium brings together the international community of artists working in public performance art practices. The practice-based workshops and performance lectures and artist presentations are with specialists working in the field.
Flow 2022 was juried by Beau Coleman (Canada), Dimple B Shah (India), Carron Little (Scotland/USA) & Martine Viale (France). It is produced in cultural partnership with Experimental Sound Studio, Intellect Books and Braunschweig, Germany Creative Working Group.
Out of Site has a eleven year history of producing public performances, symposiums, workshops, and screenings in Chicago, USA. As an organization OoS have prioritized work that facilitates interactive experiences with the public.

Interlaced – Verflochten zwischen Schichten
Like countless scales invisible on the skin of the human body, the works of Marion Jungeblut and Dagmar Glausnitzer-Smith in the exhibition Interlaced – Verflochten zwischen Schichten are brought into a context that juxtaposes the familiar, the abstract and the foreign. Words and reflective surfaces create the possibility of other realities, layers, and insights in the phenomenological and philosophical context of the works. Due to its abstraction, the artwork arouses different associations in the viewer's mind on different levels of cognitive and visual perception. The individual elements, understood as fragments, allow an insight into the creation of the exhibition Interlaced.

Das Projekt der drei Künstlerinnen Dagmar I. Glausnitzer-Smith, Marion Jungeblut, Sabina Kaluza untersucht eine mögliche Entschlüsselung durch performative Verzerrung der Koordinaten durch Interpretationen von interdisziplinären Zusammenhängen unbegrenzter Flächenräume. Der Ausgangsort liegt im Objekt -- die Karte -- die Abbildung -- die Projektion. Hier begegnet der projizierte Raum dem Raum der momentanen, simultanen Aktionen unter dem Aspekt der 'Überwachung'.

Nichts, was ist oder war, ist notwendig so, wie es ist oder war. Es könnte auch ganz anders (gewesen) sein. Auf diesen Überlegungen fußend findet die diesjährige Ausstellung der
Künstler*innenmitglieder statt und zielt auf eine künstlerische Verhandlung des Konjunktivs „könnte aber doch" ab. Die Lesart der Gegenwart manifestiert sich in der Geschichtsschreibung, die in ihrer
Selektion und Fokussierung meist einem ideologischen System zuspielt. In diesem Kontext ist es der Kunst möglich, auf kritische, ironische, politische aber auch aktivistische Weise alternative
Weltmodelle zu entwerfen, in denen Vergangenheit und Zukunft gleichermaßen als Möglichkeit neu erfunden werden können. Das breite Spektrum an Arbeiten, welche von Malerei, Fotografie über
Installation und Video bis hin zu Performances reichen, spiegelt die Vielfalt der rund 300 Teilnehmer*innen wider, welche eigens für Könnte aber doch Werke erarbeitet haben.

WORKSHOP AND PERFORMANCE ART EVENTPERFORMANCE ART SERIES 2018 CYPRUS – AMORPHOUS (BUZZ)
Following the Hawk-Eyed Workshop
Since 2013, the Performance Art Series Cyprus has taken place yearly in Nicosia. International artists convey new impulses within Performance Art and thereby approach the boundaries between public spaces and private spheres. Imaginary borders resonate particularly in Nicosia, where physical boundaries are evident between countries, languages and cultures. Art can create a “fictional” opening at this crossing point and expose itself to the other. Simultaneously, the "event" itself can become an overall work of art, with artists and viewers sharing the "stage" in participatory positions.
In 2018, the annual event will be further enriched by the possibility of participating in the Performance Art Workshop Hawk-Eyed. In the course of the workshop, the inner eye will be trained to integrate vision and intuition, as well as sharpen one’s gaze, like that of a hawk.
Following the workshop, the Performance Art Event Amorphous (BUZZ) will take place on June 30, 2018. Artists of different backgrounds will share a space that allows them to jointly transform thoughts and convey them through their performance.
After a series of similar events, such as the Cyprus International Performance Festival (2013-2016), Sensorium Space – PLUS MOTION (2016) and Sensorium Space – Tactile Bodies (2017), the Goethe-Institut Cyprus supports in 2018 the participation of German artists in the Performance Art Series 2018 Cyprus – Amorphous (BUZZ).
